Grand Rapids

Rock Cancer is a completely free rock climbing program for children, youth, teens and young adults with or affected by cancer. Participants can bring a friend or sibling to rock climb as well. Rock climbing can provide confidence, help rebuild the climber’s strength after their intense medical care, and bring a sense of fun and community -- this experience is most important after cancer treatment is winding down or completed. Anyone can rock climb, even with major physical limitations! We plan to meet and climb on a monthly basis, alongside others affected by cancer, climbers who take care of kids with cancer, and climbers who love to support kids and young adults!
